Per requests on this newsgroup, we have placed the utility that
screens for the manufacturing flaw on the PA7100 board (effecting
987/xxx systems only) on Jazz.  (Thanks, Nicole!)  You can find
Jazz at:  http://jazz.external.hp.com
 
If you are comfortable downloading from Jazz using Ryder, and if
you wish to screen your 987 system, feel free to download this
utility.  You'll find it under the "HP3000 Software" page:  it's
got the heading "SPU".  Or, you can contact the Response Center,
and they will arrange for the utility to be delivered to you.  The
Response Center will assist you with this utility, regardless of
whether you have a support contract.
 
Included with this utility is a "read me" file with instructions
on how to use it.
