  I read all the posts concerned...What errors do you believe were in the posts?
 I am still learning these OS's and therefore am not able to denote any
errors...and most of us recognize that Denys is one of the resident subject
matter experts on this list for Windows products :)

    Hmmm...the subject of Win 9x and NT really does concern me these days... as
I have to start teaching both at the Oregon Military Academy on drill weekends
starting in January, 1998... and if you think office workers are hard.... over
65% of Oregon National Guardsmen carry an '11B' MOS hehehe...

I'll keep this very short; but I'm compelled to respond just as I would
be if I read inaccurate information about the HP 3000 on an NT list..

Denys's post contains serious factual errors, both about the Macintosh
and about Windows 95. If the subject of the original post is important to
you, I urge you to check original sources and not rely on the content of
the post.

The entire debate is irrelevant: what matters in the end is suitability
to the purpose, not architecture or history or advertising or management
personalities. Selecting or rejecting a platform on any basis other than
system and vendor performance is an inexcusable breach of professional
ethics, if someone is paying for the advice.
