Just last week, while doing some migration work,
testing some code on MPE, I found that the provided LIBC.LIB.SYS
(MPE/iX 6.0) does not provide a  putenv()  function.

So to whomever it may be useful, you can get one here:
   http://www.3kranger.com/3ksoftw.shtm

Look under  MPE Software,  in the MPE issues in libc section.

Besides putenv(),  there are also a couple fixes for  sleep() and abort().
