First, are you useing PC based DTC manager or Host based DTC management
(via NMMGR).  To get the baud rate to auto sense, do the following:
 
DTC Mgr:  You need to set EVERY port as auto speed sense.  You may want to
 
auto parity sense.
 
Host based: You just need to change the profile, i.e. TR10D96 to set speed
& parity sensing.

Again, depends where your DTC management is coming from.  After changing
the config:
 
PC DTC Mgr:  Just reboot the DTC. (Power off & on) or reset the "LAN" port
on the DTC.
 
Host Based:  You MUST do a start norecovery on the HP3000 AND power off &
on the DTC.
