One very important step to take is to verify that the subsystem tape
contains all of the subsystems you currently have on your system.

What can occur is that you purchased a new subsystem (100BT, Mirror/IX or
others) after the subsystem tape was made or that you never added the
purchased product to your support contract, so it was never included on the
subsystem tape.

There is little worse that doing an OS update and you find out that the
100Tt network(or other critical items) now does not work as the drivers were
not on the tape you updated from.
