You are not crazy, and thanks for the plug!
NetBase NFS is a high-performance implementation of Network File System for
either POSIX or MPE XL, that provides transparent access to remote file
systems. Our Server version maps a UNIX file system onto the MPE XL or
POSIX file system, making an HP3000 look exactly like a UNIX file system.
Our Client version is a network services product that enables your HP 3000
computer to share files with other nodes on the same local area network.
