Nope, the last weekend in July is on a Saturday and Sunday and I'm busy
those days. Bummer, I really wanted to go.

Good luck guys and don't forget to take pictures and don't worry about
posting them anywhere, the NSA will download the pictures from your cameras
and enter them in your files.

For those interested, Keven and I will be hiking up Mt. Adams (12,281ft) in
Washington the last weekend in July.

One other member on the list with be joining us as well (Guy Paul).   The
difference being, Guy wants to hike up the day before and camp at the "Lunch
Counter".  The Lunch Counter is located at about 8500 feet.   A lot of
people do this, but I should warn you, it is very COLD at 8500 feet.

The route that Keven and I plan on doing is 10 miles, from the bottom to the
top.   With an elevation gain of approx 7,000 feet.   We are climbing up a
glacier, so it is one foot after the other, 10 or 20 steps, stop and breath.

The GOOD news, is that we will be bring a sheet of plastic (visqueen), to
slide down the glacier.   It takes about 5-6 hours to get to the top and
about 2-3 hours to come down.  Some people even carry skis or snowboards.

We will be camping the night before at a school.

Please e-mail me for details if you are interested.

-Craig

Craig Lalley and I invite any who have interest and time to join us.
We will be taking the South Spur trail - recommends crampons and Ice Axe.

Planned date is Sat, July 27, 2013.

We will be having a "business" planning session at the
"Mt Adams Lookout Point" - which we will designate the exact location
when we get there :)
