Be careful in trying ro remove directories under Samba using MSExplorer -
we hit a SA doing this!

The other phenomen may be linked to this ... it looks like that a START
NORECOVERY is needed to free up these directories.

Best regards, Andreas Schmidt, CSC, Germany

Subject: SambaIX

Hi,
I have a problem with SambaIX 0.7c on MPE5.5:
First I have created a directory in posix /SAMBA/SHR named bianca, edit the
smb.conf to add this share and finally I have mapped this directory in the
W95-Explorer. After copying some files, directories and subdirectories to
this share from my PC with the Explorer, I get the problem, that I can't
remove the directories and subdirectories. I tried it on the posix shell
with the rm -r command as manager.sys but permissions are denied. What is
the reason? Can anyone help me?
