Cecile,
Indeed I attract complicate situations.
What do you do when you have to write a form for filling a detail set with
10..20 entries?
Example: composition of a mixture
(oncentration, component code).
If I send single line forms with repeat append with only two fields then
after confirming a line, the use cannot easily go back and correct the
errors in the last but third component. On the other hand, when the
terminal is in block mode, the response is quick. The handling of the
confirmed screen, transferring the data
and refreshing the screen may be slow. I planned a form for 20 components,
and the user can fill all components, and confirm the composition once.

Frank

There are 3 kinds of programming errors: syntactical, semantical and mystical.
The programmers have to suck up the users just as much as absolutely necessary.
