But, Wirt, one difference was that even after everything
went color, you could still use your B&W TV. I am looking
forward to this being the final nail in the coffin of TV
for our family (I have been looking for a good excuse to
rid my house of it anyway).

While I would consider myself priveleged to have you come
to my house and spend an evening, I cannot say the same
about one of the hustlers from "Best Buy", "Circut City",
or one of the other places where a person goes to purchase
a television nowadays. And were you to come I would much
rather spend an evening engaging in intelligent conversation
than watching ANYTHING on TV.
