For TDP and HPEDIT, both are purchasable products that are installed
separately. Are you sure these are installed? Otherwise, check the value
of the HPPATH variable that defines the search path used to find
programs. If this variable is changed from the default it may not be
looking in .PUB.SYS, etc.
 
The only editor that comes with MPE FOS is EDIT/3000, invoked by the
EDITOR command. You can use the HELP command to find this command name.
