You will find that, provided you do not buy a crippled N-class server, your
backup time will decrease substantially. The PCI architecture makes for a
tremendous throughput increase, again provided you stay away from the
crippled systems. 75GB will be child's play for a couple of DLT8000s.

We are looking at upgrading our HP3000 987/200 (finally).
And we have to do it quickly (with in the next two months).
Needless to say, we have many questions....
With about 75gb of data, and require 24/7 operation (we are a hospital)...
? what is your thought on the DLT and TurboStore II (backup times,
problems, gotchas) ?
? does the auto raid work as well as claimed or are there hidden problems
?
? thoughts and comments on 7.5 (are they there yet) ?
