Is it possible to run an FTP session from within a COBOL Program on the HP3000.
I need to FTP the results of this program and I thought it would be nice to send
it from within the program.  The program finds files that were FTP'd to our
system.  Retrieves data from our databases and then creates a response file and
then sleeps for a predetermined amount of time.  I modified the code to store
the from and to data file names into a table and I would like to FTP them
from the Program.  Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, FTP can be called within the HPCICOMMAND which is callable from most any
languages including COBOL... A detailed example (Pascal I think) is in the FTP
