While I do not have the HELP CONTIGVOL or manual in front of me, I am pretty
sure to recall that it does have some TIMEOUT parameter. So I cannot give a
guess how long CONTIGVOL usually takes, but you should be able to tell it "go
and try packing the free space together and see what you can do for me within
the next x minutes".
