I used QEDIT when I first started out on the HP3000, and it's gotten better
ever since. Today, I used QEDIT and QEDIT for Windows (mostly QEDIT for
Windows) which can edit virtually every type of HP3000 file except those
PRIV files (you don't want to mess with those!).
I've replaced vi and EDITOR with QEDIT, but I've also been known to come
back to QUAD as well -- it's a habit that's hard to break, especially when I
have two command files - QUAD and QUADT - one starts Quad only, the other
starts QUAD and loads the file (QUADT filename).
Best Regards,
Joe
