One option to question one is to abort the job by name using MPEX e.g.

!run main.pub.vesoft;parm=1;info="abortjob JINETD,MANAGER.SYS"

Subject: [HP3000-L] Easytime

This problem has two parts.

We're looking at using EASYTIME. I would like to bring it up immediately
after backup, and take it down just before (although if someone can make
the case that there is no reason to take it down, that would be good to
know).
But there isn't a job provided to end the ETDAEMON job, ETDMONJ.PUB.SYS,
and the manual says to stop and start ETDAEMON manually, which streams
this job, and stops the process by some unseen means. So, I have written
a job that uses ABORTPROC to end ETDAEMON. Is there a better way to do
automate stopping this daemon? If so, that avoids the problem to begin
with.
