If you look at Reflections file transfer setup you will find a translation
table similar to End of Record and a host and pc definition. So what happens
is Reflection is translating the EOR from the HP to what the PC needs. Now
that said, Samba/ix may have a similar feature but my question to you is
what is you PC OS? Many PC software work whether there is a CR/LF or just LF
(I might be mistaken CR may be the newline character) for newline
characters? You might want to check the software that is loading the data
and see if it is looking for the CR/LF pair and if so is it changeable.
