It is streamx, that allows the variables in job streams, they are resolved at stream time and you can prompt for things:
::PROMPT STRING BGYEARMON="Please enter the Beginning YYYYMM"
Then you can reference the variable bgyearmon in the job with this:
If tran-date>="{BGYEARMON}"

Subject: [HP3000-L] MPEX Braces and Variables
Anyone remember what it is that lets one use braces for variables setvars in MPEX in jobs?
My work machine has MPEX but not Security and VEAudit
If it is a matter of also having Security and VEAudit, I'll wait for the purchase, it is forthcoming.
