Hi All!

I have a scenario I would like feedback on. I am running a 3000 and
want to provide direct database reporting access to both internal and
external customers via the web and other pc applications.

An example is a person with a browser, comes to my site, and wants a
real-time financial report. The data is all stored in Image.

I need the platform independence of the web browser because I am in a
campus environment and people are spreaed out in both distance and the
types of machines they use, but I also want the middleware available to
pc apps (PowerBuilder, etc..)

Now, I have heard that the MiniSoft 32bit ODBC driver is on the way,
providing native Image access. I also heard about a product, but never
got the name, that allows server mirroring of all your Image data, via a
fibre port, to an NT box running Oracle. (though redundant, it opens up
my third-party tool choices.) Anyone else heard of such a thing?

Also, I am sure there are a lot of solutions I have not heard of, so
please provide any feedback you can.

Thank You,
Kyle Parrish
