I could agree, but it is not quite as simple as that.  There is still
alot of custom progamming going on.  Except for utility boxes, such
as servers, my experience has been that the prospect has a key
application that he wants to implement.  If there is an appliction
package avialable, fine.  But in many cases he wants to be leading
edge to get a competitive advantage and therefor wants a custom
job.  AND the 3000 is an ideal platform for this as long as it has
a good suite of tolls and some standard applications. This last
applies to the small guy, who may have to get rid of his old hardware
to help justify the new box.

Vive the 3000.
