Let me sadly admit I know nothing about cgi script programming (despite the
presence of the source *somewhere* on one of our systems).  But if what is
being run, is an MPE program, then perhaps it is an implementation problem.
 
I have had little or no problem with using io redirection on MPE programs
(as opposed to commands such as TELL, WARN, COMMENT, etc).  I've done my own
parsing to strip the '>' & '<' from the command, and instead assign these
values to the createprocess() intrinsic (items 8 & 9).
 
While createprocess() is not a POSIX function, so I wouldn't expect to find
t in the httpd code, could this work here?
