We have never been able to eradicate this problem no matter what patch level
we used. Many have reduced their frequency, but we still get them. With
100+ 3000 systems, we are still getting a few now and then.
I think the OS is doing it's final clean up of processes quitting, closing
files, and releasing resources. Unfortunately, sometimes a DTC port will
not be released. I'm guessing the communication from the 3000 to the DTC
has gotten just a little out of sync. The OS is waiting for a final close
message from the DTC, and the DTC doesn't know the OS is expecting one.
