 Actually I had heard about this alphabetic work-around, but I thought
that someone was just pulling my leg.  Alpha characters in dates isn't
exactly a solution, it sounds like more of a problem than just having 00
in the year.  Maybe my next question should be does anyone know if
COGNOS products are going to support alphabetic characters in dates?
We have a number of programs (both COBOL and COGNOS) that process that
data in PM3000, and I don't think those programs are going to like A00101
for a date.

And is this "solution" just for MM?  I had always heard that PM was the
poor sister of MM, and is not as likely to ever get updated.
