Lordy, what speed do they expect? The fastest PCs in a reasonable price range
run only (*only*) at about 3 GHz. They would never notice the difference in
speed even if you did upgrade from 2.26 GHz. You would have to double CPU speed
to see any noticeable difference, and right at the moment, you can't buy a 5
GHz processor, no matter how much money you're willing to spend.
Tell them to learn patience -- or better data organization.
