I agree - SuperTool is something he should have.
 
BUT-
 
I think his problem may be not knowing the structure of the data (base).  In
MM3000- to get a logical data record, you sometimes must go to several
data-sets- not all intuitive.
 
Some of my users (PC Self Learn-ed) thought SQL access would be their answer
to all- only to find that they really didn't know (and want to know) anything
about data structure.
