Kishore gave some food for thought re date intrinsics, and
asked.........

Such an intrinsic/subroutine, I'm sure, has been written hundreds of
times in a variety of 3k languages.

I have always needed (and re-invented) a routine that accepts two dates
and returns the number of days, months and years difference between
them.
I would say the proposed HPDATECOMPARE should accept two dates (in a
some standard format) and return the number of whole days, whole months,
whole years, and whole centuries difference in separate fields. While
we're at it, do the same for time. :)

Nice proposal, Kishore, and thanks for letting us give input.

Neil
