For the last year I've been putting together a new company that creates
programmer tools for the Linux platform.  Our first product, PowerPlant, is
going to start shipping in two weeks.  We are now taking orders on our web
site at www.thekompany.com

The reason for the semi-relevance to this list is that we are including a
copy of HP Eloquence in the box (amongst 150 other items).  For those of
you that don't know, HP Eloquence is essentially Image for the Unix platform.

We will have other exciting tools and announcements over the next year that
will also have some relevance to this group.  This also means that my time
for writing for the 3000 News Wire is going to start getting slimmer as
well.  I hope to do articles through the end of this year, but I don't know
if I'll be able to find time any more after that.
