True.  We were more concerned about getting the modems connected up,
then disconnected :)  Since only technical people within the company
and hackers used the modems, we expected them to log off before hanging
up.  If they got disconnected, they would dial back up and log off.
(Funny thing was that we never could get those hackers to follow this
procedure :).
