Not legally. the public-domain version (2.6something?) runs on the 3000, but
the license prohibits its use for any commercial purposes.

However, see all the press releases about HP finally bringing RSA's encryption
toolkit to the HP3000 (Monterey is porting it for HP I believe?). Details are
in/on the 3000 Newswire ( www.3000newswire.com/newswire ).

The RSA toolkit contains all the patented pieces (even the ones that the
aforementioned pgp uses) and once available, you'll be able to utilize robust
(and industry standard) encryption on the 3000. (I don't know whether pgp will
also get ported, but it could be. In any case we'll FINALLY have the potential
to do things like SHTTP/secure SSL/SMIME on the 3000).

Can you tell I'm anxious also? (I've been lobbying for the RSA port for over
3 years now!).
