 If your LZW file was never a store to disc backup to begin with, I would think you don't need to do a RESTORE on it.  You only need to run the appropriate LZW program on the HP3000 with the right parms and the files should just get unpacked.  

If indeed it was a backup to begin with, then I suspect you need a file equation with the appropriate parms to run LZW against it with a backreference and you should get the original STORE file. 

The second answer begs the question: Why run it through LZW if the store file was already compressed?  

(Not that I remember the syntax of any of this.)

I recall our good friends at Allegro have used LZW on STORE files to transfer some of their software during their Install process, they may be more used to the syntax of it all.
