No, I did not "beg to be corrected", I just wasn't' sure any more about the
T series  (age, mileage and a love of the PCI architecture all plotted
against me.).  I was surer of the V class, however.

Also, I am not sure there ever was an equivalent e3000 for the T500/T600 and
the V-classes.

There is no 3000 counterpart to the V-class, however the T-class has
counterparts.

997 = T600
996 = T520
995 = T500
992 = 890
