Too true.

Does anyone know if Samba 2.x -- which apparently has DES built-in to
support NT's encrypted passwords (as well as PDC support) -- will be
ported to MPE?

Or to put it another way...

If your site uses and requires encrypted passwords sent over-the-wire
with
your NT servers (like us... sigh) you can't use Samba/iX.
