Listening to our mainstream media is like listening to "Baghdad Bob". They
only tell you what they want you to hear even when they know it is not the
truth.

Mr. Yokem,

for the first time, I agree with you.
Bush is not very smart !!!!
yep, ain't that the truth.
Very dangerous to have somebody not very smart in such an important
position, don't you agree?

--------------------------

No I do not agree, at least not with the enthusiasm you do. There
have been many successful Presidents who were wise enough to have a
good staff, but were not very smart themselves.

--------------------------

Very easy to be manipulated when not very smart, too.
Specially with remarks like this.

President Bush blames the media for filtering out good news on Iraq. He
says he does not even read newspapers.

--------------------------

He is right. Freedom of the press is not balanced reporting.
The press runs on bad news and controversy. Inflammatory
headlines sell papers, so the bad news is what is going to
be reported most vigorously. Can it really be, Michael, you
don't know this?

--------------------------

"The best way to get the news is from objective sources," Bush said in a
Fox News interview. "And the most objective sources I have are people on my
staff who tell me what's happening in the world."

--------------------------

Absolutely correct. The people paid to tell you what you need to know
are the most reliable. That does not make them 100% perfect, but it is
the best source the president can rely on.
