We have a toolkit (QSDK) that encapsulates NetIPC Sockets into a set of
simple calls which are easily called from Cobol. You can read about it
and/or get a free demo from our web site (SIG has address). Or if you just
want to read the reference manual, you can get it from our HP3k web server.
The manual includes some helpful discussion of this technology. You can

Keep in mind that the web server (in Cobol) at this site was written using
this toolkit.

Or you can get a copy of the NetIPC manual, or the Berkely Sockets manual
and code everything up from scratch. Others have done this who may have code
they can loan you as well. And I have heard of the CSL having some info, but
I have never seen it myself.
