Hi Terry, Hi all,

Never have I been shocked by reading a message like I was when I read =
your message.
Only 1 month ago we asked hp in the netherlands if they could do this. =
We have a steaming 987 with 300+ mb memory, and in half a year it will =
be allmost unemployed.
They told us this might technically possible, but they would NEVER do =
this.
So we're in the middle of buying a new ux-system and getting small =
trade-in money.
Can anybody tell what a 987 would turn into, and what a conversion like =
that costs, and which HP does do the trick.

Thanks,

Leon Degeling

ps
This will probably buy me my internet-connection for the next 40 =
years....

Subject: Converting OS from Unix - MPEiX

HP was hot to write into our leases the ability to convert my HP3000
systems to Unix, However now that I want to convert one of my G30's to
an MPEiX system, they are decidely dragging their feet! Does anyone
know of any customer sites that have done this? Or any HP Executives
that can assist me?
