I looked in the archives on this subject, but the only thing I found out for
sure
is that some people are doing this successfully and some people have had
problems.
I set up the P405 on a JetDirect 300x box, with a Windows driver
of Generic/Text. On the 3000, have it set up with pjl_supported = FALSE
and jam_recovery = FALSE and no setup file.
I sent a printout that normally prints there via the serial connection with
all the same configurations set up on the P405, with HP emulation set.
What I got was very tiny print. All the information is there, but it
obviously
doesn't line up with the form at all.
So for those who are using P405 printers, what am I missing? Should
there be a setup file, and if so, what should be in it? TIA
