What are you trying to do?
 
If you want to use the HP3000 as a Netware
Server (dedicated?), then a good pentuim will be much cheaper and
probably faster.  If all you want is access to the NWCOPY utility, then
adding Netware is the cheapest way to copy files to/from the network and
the MPE side of the machine.
 
It boils down to, What are you trying to do?
