Rick,

We have three sets of HP 2334A muxes that connect remote buildings on our
campus.  We use Motorola CODEX 2121 modems (9600 baud)with the muxes over
regular telephone cable. They are directly connected through our phone
switch with dedicated lines.  They've been running for 10 years without a
problem.
