How about another method:
If you have QEDIT from Robelle, text in the file and set the language to text
and set the required length, then do a keep.
If you need to perform it on a group of files try the following:
1. Listf @,6 > abc ? it dumps the full file
name into a temp file
2. QEDIT
3. T abc
4. C 1 to "T ", all
5. C 30 to ";SET LANG=TEXT;SET LENGTH=requiredlength;K,YES", all
6. K abc,unn
7. USE abc
8. EXIT
