I hope someone can explain some of this to me or offer a sample setup from their
environment!

I am currently trying to gain an understanding of ALL the options available to
control printouts.  I am primarily concerned about the format of the printouts
(portrait/landscape, duplex/simplex etc..)  We are getting away from impact
printers moving towards printing everything on HP (5si) laser printers.  I
would like to make a global change so that everything going to dev=14(impact
printer) would be changed to Dev=6(HP 5si) Landscape/Duplex.  I understand I
will have exceptions, I'll deal with them separately.  Where should I make this
change (NPCONFIG)?  Although I am aware of Setup_file, Environment and Format
files I don't truly understand when to use them or how they are different.  In
addition, how and where is the device LP defined?  Are there printer escape
sequences setup in a file somehow for LP?

Most IMPORTANT, how are Setup_file for NPCONFIG, Environment and Format files
modified?
