Please forgive me, but what Wirt reported is in the category of what
DID happen! There was a voice mail from Winston Prather that
announced to HP folks the death sentence that Wirt details all too
accurately! I have confirmation of this from another HP source.

It is time for us to act on what HAS happened, and what that
portends for our future -- not the optimistic belief (that I once shared)
that HP could not make such an irrational decision!

I for one will contribute my time, and money to Wirt's proposed open
MPE project!
