That used to be true, but a recent enhancement now permits the ENTRY
statement to be used in a COBOL II/iX main program as well.  The
alternate entry point can be specified on the RUN command.  You need
version A.04.19 of the compiler.

This was one of the enhancements requested by SIGCOBOL.  You'll
find documentation in the MPE/iX 5.5 PowerPatch 5 Communicator or
the MPE/iX 6.0 Communicator.

If you're on an older version of 5.5, you can get this functionality
by ordering patch COBKXA2.
