Gary,

This problem is not in the user's capabilities to run the program. The
problem is your program is trying to open a file that you don't have access
to. By running a god utility you are giving yourself SM capability so that
you can open any file on the system.

Do you have the source for the program to check for the files the program
wants to open? Or perhaps there are file equations to point you in the right
direction.

Chances are the program is attempting to open a file in another account and
without SM to override security you cannot access the file.

I try to run a program and I get an rpg error "file not available for
access.  mpe error "Security violation fserr93.
My capabilitites are nd,sf,ba,ia.  When I run god at my sign on then the
program runs.  My question (and I bet you are thinking.... Its about time)
what capabilities do I need to run the program.  The program capabilities
are ba,ia,mr.
