I assume you mean you can use Sysdiag to see the settings for the tape drive.  Since
all SUPLICEN does is enable the Sysdiag tool so that you can use it.

Now you can just obtain the passwords from the ESC web site, if you have the
appropriate maintenance contract with HP.  You obtain a password for the particular
machine class which your ESC id is linked to.   Then once you apply it to the system,
it is good for a period of no more than 6 months  as they change every February and
August 1st.
