This is slightly off-topic so feel free to reply privately...

Before our Library forks over a bag of money, has anyone had any
experiences with HP's NetServers and NT? They are considering one
fairly sizeable server to host several indexing packages (ERIC,
books in print, etc) and another smaller one as a CGI front-end
to a web server and some other less intensive tasks. They were
doing the indexing on a dumb Novell CD-ROM server which was killing
our network (mounting the CDROMs as drives - across a router - yechhh).
The new server will have the indexes online and is TCP client/server
with most of the "smarts" on the server, so no high network traffic
but likely heavy disk access.
