I have an HP dc3000. It works great but can't connect to my 3000. :-)
I use a JVC DR-MV5S to record both ways with VHS and DVD. It has a one
button dubbing feature that's easy to use. I got it at Fry's.

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: Copy VHS to DVD

HP used to make the DVD movie writer DC5000

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?docname=c00219743&cc=us&d
lc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

This appears to be a discontinued product. Does anyone know of a similar
device from someone else that would allow you to copy VHS and VHS-C tapes to
DVD

Thanks,
