I have an HP dc3000. It works great but can't connect to my 3000. :-)
I use a JVC DR-MV5S to record both ways with VHS and DVD. It has a one
button dubbing feature that's easy to use. I got it at Fry's.

This appears to be a discontinued product. Does anyone know of a similar
device from someone else that would allow you to copy VHS and VHS-C tapes to
DVD
