You can only presume because they're so numerous that they're now
fundamentally uncountable. The quote of interest is Madeleine K. Albright's, during her
tenure as Secretary of State, when being interviewed for a "60 Minutes" piece,
broadcast on May 12, 1996:

Stahl: "We have heard that a half million children have died [due to the
US/UN imposed sanctions]. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima.
And, you know, is the price worth it?"

Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price -- we think the
price is worth it."
