Gents,

We replaced a CPU card on 918. This was pre-configured for HP-UX. We changed
it to MPE through ss-config and did a fresh installation on the system (SLT
tape of MPE/iX 5.5)

The H/W config is :

Disk : 56/52.6.0
DDS Tape Drive : 56/52.0.0
CD-ROM Drive : 56/52.2.0

The installation was successful from SLT, but after rebooting the LDEVs
configured were only LDEV 1 and LDEV 20.
I could not get LDEV 7 and LDEV 6, even though they appear in sysgen (lp and
ld commands).

While booting I get the error message " Higher level component not
configured"

Also we get "Pascal error -650" when system comes up.

I can logon as manager.sys, but can not get LDEV 6 and LDEV 7 and LDEV 10
going

Please share your valid and useful experiences on this problem.

Thanks & regards
