Especially as cheap as they're going for these days...

I'd also strongly recommend getting another, non-DAT tape drive. DAT tapes
have a ridiculously short rated life (less than 100 passes, IIRC), and the
drivesa re touchy at best. I went through five of them before finding one
that would read the tapes I needed to to get my system reinstalled recently.
That system has since had an 8mm tape drive connected to it, and a backup
taken there. ANYTHING is more reliable than DAT.
