If you transfer the file into a bytestream file, the DIR output
should probably show the size that you expect from Windows...
ftp> binary
ftp> put pcfile mpefile;REC=-,,B
ftp> dir mpefile
You might need to add ;DISC=large_value to override the default
file limit or have the MPE system manager adjust BLDPARMS.ARPA.SYS
accordingly.
However, you need to check if the receiving side can deal with
a bytestream file or expects an MPE record oriented format.
